This policy explains what Bestof-Everything collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what the service needs.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your username and email address.
- Content you create — reviews, ratings, votes, collections, follows, and reports.
- Device push token — if you enable notifications, so we can deliver them.
- Usage data — first-party analytics such as which products you view, used to power personalized rankings. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
2. How we use your information
To operate the service — authenticate you, publish your reviews and votes, compute rankings and personalized recommendations, send notifications you opt into, and keep the community safe (moderation, spam and abuse prevention).
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that host and run the app on our behalf (for example, our web and database hosting), and where required by law.
4. Push notifications
If you enable notifications, we register a device token to deliver them via Apple Push Notification service. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops delivery.
5. Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data and the content you created — your reviews, ratings, votes, collections, follows, and notifications. Anonymous, aggregate statistics that do not identify you (for example, a product’s total vote count) may be retained.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise deletion directly in the app; for other requests, contact us using the details below.
7. Children
Bestof-Everything is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We protect your session with industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and HttpOnly authentication cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
